| A recent trip to Moab and Arches National Park for some climbing fun. This is the approach, the spire and me on it at the first belay station. The weather was horrendous that weekend and we ended up bailing off at this point as the winds were around 50 MPH and we did not want to get blown off the top. It was a real blast and later we did a classic desert crack climb. The sheer vertical wall with hands, feet, knees and off width jamming. 140' of brutal sandstone climbing on a route called Bloody Knees. They weren't kidding either! |
